Tasnim Chemical Complex Ltd. (TCCL) is a sister concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), engaged in the production of Caustic Soda, Hydrogen Peroxide, Hydrochloric Acid and Liquid Chlorine. We are currently looking for a Head of Mechanical – TCCL to lead the overall mechanical maintenance and reliability functions of the chemical plant. The position will ensure safe and reliable operation of mechanical equipment, effective maintenance planning, shutdown management, equipment reliability and coordination with other technical teams to ensure continuous plant operation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall Mechanical function of the chemical plant, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment and systems.

• Plan, supervise and control preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities for rotating and static equipment.

• Oversee maintenance and reliability of pumps, compressors, blowers, gearboxes, agitators, turbines, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, piping and other critical plant equipment.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans, inspection schedules and equipment reliability improvement programs to minimize breakdowns and unplanned shutdowns.

• Lead major plant shutdowns, turnarounds and maintenance activities, including planning, manpower deployment, contractor management and timely completion of work.

• Ensure proper maintenance, inspection and integrity management of pressure vessels, storage tanks, pipelines, valves and other mechanical assets in compliance with applicable standards and safety requirements.

• Analyze recurring equipment failures, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures to improve equipment availability and plant reliability.

• Coordinate with Production, Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Projects and other departments for maintenance planning, troubleshooting, plant operation and smooth production.

• Lead mechanical activities related to plant expansion, modification, installation, commissioning and start-up of new equipment and facilities.

• Manage mechanical maintenance manpower, contractors, spare parts, tools and maintenance resources, ensuring effective utilization and cost control.

• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety procedures, statutory requirements and good maintenance practices during all mechanical activities.

• Provide technical leadership to the Mechanical team, develop maintenance strategies, prepare maintenance budgets and reports, and continuously improve plant reliability, safety and operational efficiency.
