Experience:

• 4 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Leather goods/ Footwear/ Tannery

• The incumbent needs to have 4 years bachelor’s/engineering degree from any  public/private/foreign university of Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/ Polymer Science/Chemical Engineering.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Leather goods/ Footwear/ Tannery

• Age 28 to 35 years

• Excellent understanding of the footwear manufacturing process, materials and   technologies.

• Perform synthetic materials (PU, PVC, EVA, TPR) tests by ISO/SATRA: Hardness, Abrasion,  

•   Compression set, Density, Hydrolysis, Aging, Ross flexing, Sole flexing and circulation reports to concern departments.

• Oversee leather, PU, PVC upper/ lining material tests by ISO/ SATRA: Tear, Stitch Tear, Tensile, Breaking, Peel Off, Color Fastness, Martindale, Bally Flexing and circulation reports to concern departments.

• Own formulation strategy and chemical consumption planning for synthetic products conducting batch trials and update through IFS system.

• Lead raw materials substitution and local sourcing initiative communicating with SCM

• Determine sole-upper bonding strength, pull force and peel strength of finished products.

• Lead root-cause analysis of bonding failures in lasting floor and drive production trouble shooting.

• Perform different incoming chemicals test trials and make reports.

• Coordinate with third-party labs (SGS, INTERTEK, TUV SUD, YUV RHEINLAND) for external testing needs.

• Maintain documentation of all test reports and approvals.

• Compile monthly acceptance vs rejection reports.

• Assist in establishing SOPs if required.
