Responsibilities & Context:
- Raw Material Inspection: Check wood veneers for correct species, grade, and moisture content before processing.
- Glue and Adhesive Monitoring: Inspect glue uniformity, spread amount, and resin quality to prevent delamination.
- Pressing Control: Monitor temperature, pressure, and time during cold and hot pressing.
- Bond and Strength Testing: Conduct random bond and shear tests to meet structural standards.
- Dimension and Surface Checks: Measure panel size tolerance, thickness calibration, and surface smoothness during trimming and sanding.
- Defect Reporting and Documentation: Record inspection data, log nonconformities, and stop production lines if defect rates rise.
