The IMS Lead Auditor will play an important role in delivering high-quality certification services for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, while maintaining the principles of impartiality, competence, confidentiality and professional integrity expected from an internationally recognized Certification Body.
This role provides an opportunity to work across diverse industries, engage with senior management and operational teams, lead professional audit teams, and contribute directly to the credibility and continued growth of TUVAT BIC's Business Assurance services.

Responsibilities:
Audit Planning & Execution: Plan, conduct and lead ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Integrated Management System (IMS) audits, including Stage 1, Stage 2, Surveillance and Recertification audits.
Audit Team Leadership: Lead audit teams, allocate responsibilities, and conduct professional opening and closing meetings with clients.
Management System Evaluation: Assess the conformity and effectiveness of management systems against applicable ISO standards, statutory and regulatory requirements, and certification criteria.
Audit Findings: Identify and document nonconformities, observations and other audit findings based on clear and objective evidence.
Audit Reporting: Prepare accurate, technically sound and timely audit reports and submit all required audit documentation.
Corrective Action Review: Review root-cause analysis, corrections and corrective actions submitted by clients against identified nonconformities.
Certification Recommendation: Provide technically justified recommendations for initial certification, continuation, recertification, suspension, withdrawal or changes in certification scope, as applicable.
Compliance & Impartiality: Conduct all certification activities in accordance with TUVAT BIC procedures, applicable accreditation requirements, ISO/IEC 17021-1 and relevant IAF requirements, while maintaining impartiality, confidentiality and professional integrity.
Client Communication: Maintain professional communication with clients before, during and after audits and clearly communicate audit findings and certification requirements.
Technical Competence: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO standards, regulatory requirements, industry practices and relevant certification/accreditation requirements.
Training & Development: Participate in auditor calibration, witness audits and professional development activities, and conduct ISO awareness or auditor training when assigned and qualified.
Internal Coordination: Coordinate with Operations, Technical and Certification teams to ensure timely and effective completion of certification activities.
Business Development Support: Support the growth of Business Assurance services by identifying potential certification and training opportunities, maintaining professional client relationships, and referring qualified leads to the responsible Sales/Business Development team, without compromising auditor impartiality or independence.
Market Awareness: Provide feedback on emerging industry requirements, client needs and potential opportunities for ISO certification, training and other Business Assurance services.
Records & Documentation: Maintain complete, accurate and traceable audit records in accordance with company and information-security requirements.
Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other relevant audit, technical, training or Business Assurance responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.
Candidate with no prior 3rd party audit experience need not apply.
Candidates must be able to share audit log to demonstrate prior audit experience.
Lead Auditor qualification on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 is a must
Candidates with Lead Auditor qualification on other standards such as ISO 27001:2022 will get preference.
