• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Automobile
• Master of Science (MSc) in Supply Chain Management, Automobile

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Ice Cream, Dairy

• Age 30 to 45 years
• Only Male

• Strong knowledge of Distribution, Logistics & Transportation Management.

• Bangla typing & advanced level of MS Excel is required 

• Hands‑on experience in Fleet Management and Route Planning. 

• Knowledge of Cold‑Chain & Temperature‑Controlled Transportation. 

• Excellent cost control, negotiation, planning and problem‑solving skills. 

• Vendor and transport contractor management skills. 

• Good knowledge of ERP, GPS/Vehicle Tracking Systems, MS Excel and reporting tools. 

• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and decision‑making skills. 

• Ability to manage operations under pressure and ensure delivery. 

• Experience in an FMCG/Frozen Food/Ice Cream/Dairy company. 

• Strong understanding of Bangladesh's transportation network and distribution operations. 

• Experience in managing both company‑owned and outsourced transport fleets. 

• Strong focus on efficiency, cost optimization, safety, and service quality.

• Lead distribution and transportation operations from the factory to depots, distributors, and customers.

• Develop monthly delivery and distribution plans based on production, sales, and market requirements.

•  Manage company‑owned and outsourced fleet, vehicles, drivers and transport vendors.

•  Ensure vehicle placement, loading, dispatch, delivery, and return of vehicles on time.

•  Ensure cold‑chain management for Frozen Food and Ice Cream products during transportation.

•  Monitor vehicle on-time utilization, route planning, delivery efficiency, fuel consumption, and transportation costs.

•  Coordinate closely with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Supply Chain and Operation teams for dispatch and delivery operations.

•  Ensure safe loading, unloading, handling, and transportation of finished goods without damage, shortage, and wastage.

•  Monitor vehicle maintenance, fitness, documentation, insurance, and regulatory compliance time to time.

• Manage drivers, helpers, and mechanics for smooth delivery.

• Maintain transport safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable traffic and transportation regulations.

• Manage transport vendors, negotiate rates, monitor service performance, and ensure compliance with agreed terms.

• Analyze distribution and transportation costs. Implement initiatives for cost reduction and operational efficiency.

• Monitor delivery performance, vehicle tracking, route adherence, and delivery‑related issues.

• Ensure documentation for dispatch, delivery, vehicle movement, fuel, maintenance, and transportation expenses.

• Develop the Distribution & Transport team, including supervisors, coordinators, drivers, and support staff.

• Resolve delivery, vehicle, route, and transportation‑related operational issues promptly.

• Prepare management reports on distribution performance, fleet utilization, transportation costs, delivery status, and operational issues.

• Any other task assigned by management.
