Experience Requirements
- At least 10 year(s) on Apparels Merchandising/Marketing.
- Sound knowledge in English (Listening, Writing, and Speaking) to handle Buyers/Client.
- Good knowledge in Computers & Email to Clients.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
Responsibilities & Context:
- To lead and deal with the Buyers independently for all the merchandising activities including order booking, processing, product development, instant price quotation based on customer requirements, negotiation and order follow-up.
- Arrange all kinds of fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for sampling and production by leading a development team effectively.
- To ensure sourcing as per business plan & target
- To develop merchandise under assigned category
- Communication with Buyers & Suppliers.
- Coordinate with the factory team for proper & on time production & shipment.
- To follow up on running orders, and all approvals including samples and accessories, PP meetings, and fabric status in order to start production and on-time shipment.
- To ensure supplier`s PI and other commercial issues with coordinated effort.
- To follow with the commercial department to ensure all back-to-back LCs for yarn and related accessories are done in due time.
- To prepare and maintain time and action plan and execute accordingly to maintain customer delivery date.
- To communicate with buyers on day-to-day merchandising activities and approvals.
- To maintain a good environment and discipline in the merchandising department.
- Ability to work under pressure and finish work timely.
- Any special task/assignment as required for the position given by the company.
