Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have experience in material management.
∎ Must be experience in yarn & fabrics quality ensure & store management.
∎ Ensure necessary fabrics, accessories, and materials for production as per requirement.
∎ Ensure sourcing of Buyer, Overseeing the planning and implementation of Merchandising strategies.
∎ Manage efficient sourcing of fabrics & accessories and consumption.
∎ Must be able to do costing of all kinds of woven & Knit garments. Able to do consumption & costing independently & on the spot.
∎ Follow up total order from development to shipment.
∎ Negotiate with buyers, participate in bidding process and obtain order confirmation in terms of price, costing, quality and lead-time.
∎ Follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensure shipment move on time.
∎ Follow up with commercial on correct shipping documents, shipment advice and payment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years merchandising experience in a factory in woven (Pants) category
∎ Must be knowledgeable of garments construction and costing, specifically woven fabric properties, fabric printing, and surface applications
∎ Must have extensive experience of product development, sourcing of materials, costing, production tracking and execution of orders independently
∎ Profound knowledge of Woven (Pants) garment engineering and production processes is required
∎ Have sound knowledge of fabrics and an excellent network of fabric, print, embroidery & trims suppliers
∎ Should have excellent understanding of technical / production process
∎ Should have a passion for product development, an eye for styles/details and fits.
∎ Should be able to handle MIS entries
∎ Must be capable to handle buyers independently in tremendous pressure with aggressive marketing attitude
∎ Must have skills in examining and establishing proper merchandising operations and procedures
∎ Good understanding of core business aspects
∎ Should have ideas about effective communication for raw materials booking and delivery
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart, and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ Applicant will be willing to take huge work pressure.
