Responsibilities & Context:
  • Assist the Senior Manager–Merchandising with daily order follow-ups and overall coordination.

  • Communicate regularly with suppliers, factories, and internal departments to track sample development and material status.

  • Support in preparing price quotations, costing sheets, and detailed order documentation.

  • Update and maintain Time & Action (T&A) calendars, ensuring all tasks progress according to schedule.

  • Follow up on sample development, fabric and trims bookings, and approval processes to ensure timely execution.

  • Maintain comprehensive buyer files, including all correspondence, approvals, samples, and shipment records.

  • Support the team in ensuring on-time shipment and smooth order execution from development to delivery.

  • Coordinate with QA, production, and planning teams to monitor daily production progress and address issues promptly.

  • Prepare regular production reports, status updates, and summaries for management.

  • Manage the full merchandising cycle, from product development to bulk production and shipment.

  • Communicate directly with buyers, suppliers, and factories to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements.

  • Handle sampling, costing, pricing, order placement, and follow-up in alignment with buyer specifications.

  • Monitor bulk production closely to ensure adherence to production plans and delivery timelines.

  • Oversee all production approvals and track fabric/trims in-house status to maintain workflow efficiency.

  • Monitor the Critical Path to ensure on-time delivery and product quality standards are met.

  • Coordinate production execution to align with buyer expectations, quality requirements, and shipment schedules.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, updated T&A calendars, and daily production status records.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with buyers, suppliers, and vendors to support long-term business growth.
