Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate physical Mechanical Testing (e.g., tear strength, tensile strength, seam strength, bursting strength, attachment strength, pilling, abrasion, functional tests, etc.)

• Manage and co-ordinate with Team also to prepare test specimens and perform tests in accordance with documented testing method.

Specific Responsibilities

• Ensure the verification of samples whether it’s sufficient to conduct the requested tests.

• Ensure the test method whether it is in line with the buyer’s requirements.

• Review the internal worksheet with sample as per buyer procedure and clarify proper testing procedure before acceptance.

• Assist and prepare test specimens/raw data and performs tests as per buyer manual.

• Facilitate the assessment as per the standards/requirements of the buyer.

• Provide support to review the raw data/result for verification of the results.

• Co-ordinate with the day to day improvements as Instructed from Team leader/Section heads.

• Follow lab safety protocols including PPE usage and chemical handling.
