• Strong knowledge of industrial production machinery and utility systems.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency machine breakdowns.Good leadership and team supervision capability.

• Sound knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems.

• Familiarity with safety, compliance, and factory operational standards.

• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in a garments/textile manufacturing environment will be preferred.

1. Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for knitting, dyeing, finishing, utility, and production machinery to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

2. Monitor machine performance regularly and take immediate corrective action to minimize downtime and increase production efficiency.

3. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, gearbox, motor, compressor, boiler, and utility-related issues effectively.

4. Plan and supervise machine installation, commissioning, calibration, overhauling, relocation, and modification works as per production requirements.

5. Ensure proper maintenance of drives, motors, bearings, belts, filters, lubrication systems, pumps, valves, and other critical machine components.

6. Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare parts consumption reports.

7. Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, HR, Compliance, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth factory operations and timely maintenance support.

8. Control maintenance costs by reducing machine downtime, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring optimal use of spare parts and resources.

9. Lead, train, and develop maintenance team members while ensuring discipline, workplace safety, compliance, and continuous skill improvement.

10. Analyze recurring technical problems, implement root cause analysis (RCA), and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and machine efficiency.
