Education: - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
- MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College with valid BM&DC Registration.

- Team building and fostering the team’s effort.
- As a member of the project team, work should be done in coordination with colleagues to ensure high-quality support for the projects and excellence within the organization.

Skill and Competencies
- 3-5 years of relevant experience. (experience in public health, especially NGO and Community Clinic management and operations)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to lead a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Flexible, highly committed & motivated to work in remote locations, coastal areas, especially in riverine areas and hard-to-reach areas.
- Ready to move from one floating hospital to another floating hospital and other Friendship Health’s facilities to provide support.
Responsibilities & Context: Responsible for:
- Treatment and patient management
- Assist the Medical Officer in various management.
- Assist the Medical Officer in planning and implementing programs.
- Conduct clinical training for the staff.
- Participate GO/NGO meeting and represent Friendship.
- Ensuring quality and functionality of all programs
Activities:
- Clinical consultation at outdoors.
- Management of patients for any emergency and provide treatment.
- Help the Medical Officer (in charge) and Programme Manager in planning and implementation of health programs.
- Provide clinical and leadership support to other floating hospitals during the leave/absence of the Medical Officer.
- Help to develop action plans for secondary health camp programs and special visits as per health program requirements.
- Managing and facilitating the activities of regular primary & secondary health care, health camp, lab service, O.T. service, and others.
- Collaboration and coordination with GO, NGO, Community leaders, and the private sector, and represent Friendship.
- Regularly conduct clinical sessions for the medical staff and ensure quality services.
- Assist in developing an estimated budget for program activities.
- Prepare monthly medicine requisition, health camp medicine requisition, Lab reagent and logistic requisition, x-ray requisition, dental & OT supplies requisition, and send to the head office.
- Ensure rational use of logistics and supplies on the ship.
- Conduct safeguarding training.
- Develop a quality indicator and follow up.
- Ensure clinical advice, diagnosis, and patient history are taken through eHospital software.
- Assist the ship’s clinical in-charge in documentation and reporting.
- Ensure quality checklists are properly maintained, monitored, and submitted.
