The Marketing Manager – Garments Apparels Trims & Accessories plays a key leadership role in driving business growth through strategic marketing, client relationship management, product promotion, and market development. The position requires strong knowledge of garment accessories (e.g., labels, tags, elastics, tapes, buttons, packaging items, heat-transfer labels, poly items), understanding of buyer requirements, sourcing strategies, and overall RMG industry trends.
The manager will oversee the marketing team, handle both local & international clients, negotiate prices, coordinate production follow-ups, and ensure timely order execution while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Identify new potential buyers, brands, factories, and buying houses for trims and accessories.
Develop market expansion strategies for local and export clients.
Conduct market research on competitor products, pricing, industry trends, and customer requirements.
Visit garment factories and buying houses to promote company products.
Maintain strong and professional relationships with existing buyers, merchandisers, and sourcing teams.
Attend buyer meetings, respond to inquiries, and provide technical/product support.
Handle customer complaints promptly and ensure effective solutions.
Prepare product catalogs, samples, and marketing materials for customer presentations.
Train clients on product benefits, usage, and specifications.
Coordinate development of new trims or customized accessories as per buyer requirements.
Negotiate prices, MOQ, lead-time, commercial terms, and approval processes with buyers.
Prepare quotations, cost sheets, and pricing proposals.
Ensure smooth order confirmation, PO collection, sample approval, and production handover.
Follow up with production, sampling, QA, and planning teams for order execution.
Coordinate sample developments including artwork, layout, size-set, and pre-production approvals.
Track production status and ensure on-time delivery of finished goods.
Prepare annual sales plan and achieve monthly & quarterly marketing targets.
Monitor product-wise and buyer-wise sales performance.
Identify slow-moving items and develop strategies to revive them.
Maintain client records, visit reports, price history, and communication logs.
Submit weekly and monthly sales & marketing reports to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs and internal reporting guidelines.
Supervise marketing executives, provide guidance, evaluate performance, and train team members.
Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain high professional standards.
Lead cross-functional communication with commercial, accounts, and logistics departments.
Ensure adherence to product quality standards as per buyer requirements.
Work closely with QC/QA teams to minimize complaints and improve customer satisfaction.
Maintain compliance with social, environmental, and chemical standards (RSL, MRSL, OEKO-Tex, GRS, FSC, etc.) if applicable.
Assist management in developing long-term business strategy and product diversification.
Identify opportunities for new product lines or materials based on RMG market changes.
Implement promotional campaigns, exhibitions, buyer fairs, and digital marketing strategies.
