Taiba Saifullah Group, a leading and reputed group of companies in Bangladesh, having multiple sister concerns and more than four decades of business experience in Bangladesh and abroad, is looking for an experienced and technically capable Marine Mechanical Engineer for its operations/projects.

Job Location

• Project Location / Shipyard – As Required

Key Responsibilities

Marine Machinery & Equipment

• Supervise and maintain marine engines, auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, generators and other mechanical equipment.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of vessel machinery.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and arrange necessary repair and replacement.
• Ensure minimum machinery downtime.

Ship Repair & Maintenance

• Supervise mechanical repair, overhaul, installation and commissioning work.
• Coordinate with shipyard technicians, contractors and service providers.

Technical Inspection

• Inspect machinery and mechanical systems to identify defects and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure work is completed according to approved technical specifications and safety standards.

Spare Parts & Procurement

• Identify required mechanical spare parts, tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Purchase & Procurement and Store departments for timely availability of materials.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain machinery maintenance records, inspection reports and service history.
• Prepare daily/weekly maintenance and progress reports for management.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable marine safety standards, company procedures and project requirements.
• Maintain safe working practices during maintenance, repair and installation activities.

Team & Contractor Management

• Supervise technicians, mechanics and contractors involved in marine mechanical work.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Operations, Procurement, Store and other relevant departments.
