• Experience in water pump industry (design, quality control or related)

• Strong understanding of water pump construction and quality standards

• Experience with finished goods import and local market regulations in Bangladesh

• Oversee end-to-end quality control processes for finished water pumps.

• Ensure all products meet internal benchmarks and customer expectations.

• Analyze internal construction, components and design of water pumps for performance improvement.

• Identify opportunities for product enhancement, cost optimization, and durability improvement.

• Work closely with suppliers to define product specifications, materials and quality parameters.

• Ensure supplier compliance with required standards and continuous quality improvement.

• Conduct supplier audits and technical evaluations where necessary.

• Drive product development initiatives tailored to local market needs and customer preferences.

• Lead product “fixation” (modification and adaptation) based on field feedback and performance data.

• Coordinate with R&D and sourcing teams for new product introduction (NPI).

• Ensure all products comply with national and international regulatory, safety, and certification requirements.

• Maintain proper documentation for audits, certifications, and inspections.

• Lead and manage teams responsible for product inspection, testing and validation.

• Approve final product release based on quality and performance standards.

• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams for product positioning, features alignment, and market competitiveness.

• Provide technical insights for product branding, packaging, and customer communication.

• Support after-sales and service teams in resolving product-related issues.
