Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Apparel Manufacturing Process, Apparel merchandising, Garment Construction or Methodology, Meticulous and Astute Apparel, Pattern making, Process Excellence, Supplier Prospecting, Technical and Quality Management, Trend Analysis
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for making decision on product life cycle through creating technical specifications.
∎ Take the order file and other necessary information from merchandising & Marketing department.
∎ Ensuring the comprehension of the client's product, fitting, fabric performance, sampling and production procedures, quality and safety standard.
∎ Research industry trends, competition best practices, key retailers and market influence.
∎ To make pattern for individual style, provide all necessary documents to pattern master & solve the pattern making problem instantly.
∎ Ensure Safety and Quality compliances are acknowledged and implemented.
∎ Give clear instruction to sample supervisor and sample machinist for making quality sample and monitor the sample machinist to make sample as buyer required.
∎ To follow buyer instructions and comments carefully at the time of making sample.
∎ To find the easiest way by taking buyer concern and production head advise in-terms of critical style/critical process for smooth production.
∎ Assure formulation of products are aligned and consistent with established fit and quality standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.
∎ To ensure sample making and submit on time as per action Plan.
∎ Responsible for execution, monitoring & evaluation of Sewing plan.
∎ To solve all sorts of technical problems ensuing quality in pattern making/cutting/sewing.
∎ Proper comments with merchandising & production required all sample with proper quality and on time delivery.
∎ Maintain best method of Sample manufacturing for easy production without sampling appearance of Garments.
∎ Complete all buyer requirements regarding Sample Room.
∎ Properly maintain the SOP on Sample & Quality Assurance section.
∎ Manage the technical team, attend to their training needs & mentor/ coach new recruits.
∎ Working experience with the buyers like Nike, M&S, H & M and HEMA will be preferable.
∎ Train the new joining for making them ready for production line.
∎ Production planning, layout setting and monitoring the target production achievement.
∎ Perform other duties assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Conversant with production planning, production management and quality control.
∎ Should be fluent in English correspondences both in written & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications.
Salary: Negotiable
