Education:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• Age At least 26 years

• Provide professional primary medical care, first aid, emergency treatment, and medical support for workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Examine, diagnose, treat and monitor common illnesses, minor injuries and occupational health conditions, including appropriate follow-up.

• Assess employees’ fitness for work and specific job assignments, and recommend necessary medical restrictions, accommodations or further assessment.

• Conduct or coordinate pre-employment, periodic and occupational health examinations in accordance with company requirements and applicable regulations.

• Manage workplace medical emergencies, stabilize critical patients, coordinate emergency transportation and arrange timely referral to hospitals or specialists.

• Establish and maintain an effective emergency medical response system, including first-aid arrangements, emergency protocols and participation in emergency drills.

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, well-equipped and operational factory clinic, ensuring adequate availability, proper storage and timely replenishment of medicines, medical equipment and emergency supplies.

• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration and readiness of medical equipment and effective management of medical waste and infection prevention practices.

• Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date medical records, treatment documentation, examination reports, referrals, medicine records and occupational health data.

• Monitor workplace injuries, illnesses and occupational health hazards; analyze health trends and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective measures.

• Conduct health awareness, hygiene, preventive healthcare and employee wellbeing programs, including vaccination/immunization campaigns where applicable.

• Collaborate with HR, Admin, EHS/Safety, Compliance, Production and Management to address workplace health risks and provide professional medical advice on occupational health matters.

• Ensure medical services and facilities comply with applicable Bangladesh labour, occupational health, workplace safety and healthcare requirements, as well as relevant customer and audit standards.

• Support internal and external audits, inspections, accident/injury investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to medical and occupational health requirements.

• Maintain professional independence, medical ethics and confidentiality while continuously recommending improvements to workplace health programs based on medical data, risk assessment and recognized industry best practices.
