Education:

  • Bachelor/Honors

  • Masters

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology / Speech & Language Therapy / Speech-Language Pathology / Communication Disorders from any recognized institution.

  • Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI) / Proyash Institute of Special Education and Research (PISER) is preferred.

  • Ability to manage workload and maintain therapy schedules.

  • Willingness to work in hospital, school, or field settings if required.

  • Commitment to professional ethics and institutional policies.

  • Basic computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and ERP systems.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Conduct primary screening, assessment, and evaluation of patients referred by physicians.

  • Plan and conduct speech and language therapy sessions according to patient age, diagnosis, and condition.

  • Provide specialized therapy services for autism, cochlear implant users, and other special cases.

  • Prepare therapy materials, documents, and teaching aids based on individual patient needs.

  • Deliver quality therapy services ensuring adequate session time and patient engagement.

  • Monitor patient progress and conduct parent/caregiver counseling sessions.

  • Maintain therapy diaries, patient lists, and daily appointment schedules.

  • Schedule therapy sessions and assist in fee collection and coordination processes.

  • Prepare and submit therapy session reports in prescribed formats.

  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior therapists and team members.

  • Inspect speech therapy rooms, equipment, and therapeutic environment on a daily basis.
