Senior Scientific Officer

Supervise daily laboratory activities and ensure smooth operations.

Perform and verify laboratory tests according to SOPs and quality standards.

Ensure proper sample collection, identification, processing, and reporting.

Monitor Internal Quality Control (IQC) and ensure accuracy of test results.

Supervise Medical Technologists and other laboratory staff.

Monitor equipment, reagents, and laboratory supplies.

Investigate testing errors, discrepancies, and complaints and take corrective actions.

Maintain laboratory records, reports, and quality documentation.

Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, infection control, and ISO 15189 requirements.

Assist the Laboratory In-charge/Director in quality improvement and other assigned technical activities.
