Job Responsibilities:
∎ Standards and Guideline Compliance:
∎ Develop and maintain sustainability standards and guidelines in line with industry best practices.
∎ Ensure organizational compliance with relevant sustainability regulations and requirements.
∎ Auditing:
∎ Conduct regular sustainability audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
∎ Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
∎ Health and Safety with Risk Assessment:
∎ Assess health and safety risks associated with sustainability initiatives and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
∎ Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
∎ Environment:
∎ Develop and implement strategies to minimize the organization's environmental impact, including reducing energy consumption, waste generation, and carbon emissions.
∎ Identify opportunities for implementing renewable energy sources and promoting sustainable resource management.
∎ Social Responsibility:
∎ Drive social responsibility initiatives, such as community engagement, ethical sourcing, and fair labor practices.
∎ Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement programs that positively impact local communities and society at large.
∎ Customer Demand:
∎ Stay informed about evolving customer expectations and demands regarding sustainability practices.
∎ Incorporate customer feedback into sustainability strategies and initiatives.
∎ Development:
∎ Stay up to date on emerging trends, regulations, and innovations in sustainability management.
∎ Continuously enhance the organization's sustainability practices through research, training, and industry collaboration.
∎ Certification:
∎ Manage sustainability certifications and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
∎ Collaborate with certification bodies and internal teams to obtain and maintain certifications.
∎ Data Verification:
∎ Verify the accuracy and integrity of sustainability-related data through rigorous data analysis and verification processes.
∎ Collaborate with relevant departments to establish data collection and reporting protocols.
∎ Reporting:
∎ Prepare comprehensive sustainability reports detailing key metrics, progress, and achievements.
∎ Communicate sustainability performance to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
∎ Drive the Sustainability Goals:
∎ Set ambitious sustainability goals aligned with the organization's vision and industry benchmarks.
∎ Engage and inspire employees at all levels to actively contribute to sustainability objectives.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
∎ Proven experience in sustainability management, environmental compliance, or related fields.
∎ Strong knowledge of sustainability standards, guidelines, and regulations.
∎ Experience in conducting sustainability audits and implementing corrective actions.
∎ Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment methodologies.
∎ Familiarity with environmental conservation, renewable energy, and waste reduction practices.
∎ Understanding of social responsibility principles and fair-trade practices.
∎ Experience in managing sustainability certifications, such as LEED, B Corp, or ISO 14001.
∎ Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with attention to detail and accuracy.
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
∎ Strong project management and organizational skills to drive sustainability initiatives.
∎ Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex sustainability challenges.
∎ Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.
