Responsibilities & Context:
1. Machine Maintenance
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults
Repair control panels, sensors, drives, and PLC systems
Perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
2. Automation & Control
Configure and monitor automated production lines
Improve machine efficiency and reduce downtime
3. Electrical System Monitoring
Check motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and power systems
Monitor voltage, current, and load conditions
Ensure stable power distribution inside the factory
4. Installation & Commissioning
Install new machines and electronic equipment
Test systems before production starts
Coordinate with vendors and technicians during setup
5. Production Support
Help production teams when machines stop or malfunction
Analyze recurring technical problems
Suggest improvements for faster and safer production
6. Quality Control
Ensure electronic products or systems meet standards
Test circuits, boards, and devices
Maintain calibration of instruments
7. Safety & Compliance
Follow industrial safety rules
Ensure proper grounding and protection systems
Maintain documentation and maintenance records
Typical Daily Routine
A factory electronics engineer may:
Inspect machines in the morning
Respond to machine faults during production
Check maintenance schedules
Program or troubleshoot PLC systems
Prepare reports and coordinate with production managers
