Required Skills & Competencies.       

• Strong knowledge of MRSL/RSL compliance and chemical safety.       

• Knowledge of ZDHC CMS, wastewater management, and environmental monitoring.        

• Familiarity with Clean Chain, ZDHC Gateway, Higg FEM, Ecovadis, STEP by OEKO-TEX®, GOTS & GRS.        

• Good analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.       

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Maintain and implement the Chemical Management System (CMS) in alignment with ZDHC guidelines and buyer requirements.

• Monitor MRSL/RSL compliance according to brand and certification standards.

• Ensure proper chemical storage, segregation, labeling, secondary containment, and safe chemical handling practices throughout the facility.

• Ensure updated SDS/MSDS are available in local language and accessible in all relevant workplaces.

• Manage chemical inventory through Clean Chain and maintain supplier chemical compliance records.

• Coordinate hazardous chemical substitution and safer chemistry initiatives.

• Support implementation and audit preparation for GOTS, GRS, STEP by OEKO-TEX®, Ecovadis, and Higg FEM.

• Ensure compliance with environmental and chemical management requirements of Decathlon, Inditex, and Primark.

• Prepare and follow up Corrective Action Plans (CAP) against audit findings and compliance gaps.

• Maintain records of stack emission, ambient air emission, noise level, drinking water, and wastewater quality test reports.

• Track, measure, and maintain daily inventory records of energy consumption, water consumption, air emissions, waste generation, and chemical usage.

• Assist in implementation and maintenance of Environmental Management System (EMS) activities.

• Conduct training programs on chemical handling, environmental awareness, PPE usage, occupational health & safety, and spill response.

• Coordinate with chemical suppliers regarding ZDHC Gateway approved products and MRSL conformance.

• Support sustainability data collection for ESG
