Must have previous experience on garment fitting with direct customers (European customers).
Working experience on Kids wear get preference.
Must have pattern manipulation/ alteration skills related with fit comments – ( CAD or manual pattern cutting knowledge)Work experience- Worked as Asst Manager/ Sr. Garment technologist/ Sr. Fit technician in retails/buying /factory for fashion brands like- Tesco, George, Sainsbury’s, Next, Esprit, S. Oliver, G-Star, JARA, M&S, New look, H&M etc.
English- Written/Listening – Good, Speaking- Medium (Can speak on a fit session)
Tesco – TCGT with above will get preference.
Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise and monitor garment sample development, fitting, and production processes.
Ensure technical specifications and garment construction meet buyer standards.
Work closely with pattern makers and sample teams to ensure fit accuracy.
Train and guide production teams on machinery, technical adjustments, and finishing techniques.
Analyze production issues and provide solutions to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
Monitor pre-production sample (PPS) and size set approval processes.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and safety practices.
