Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficient and timely completion of production schedules.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
∎ Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to address any deviations.
∎ Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
∎ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
∎ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
∎ Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.
∎ Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to implement quality control procedures and resolve any quality issues.
∎ Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for any production-related defects.
∎ Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
∎ Promote a safe working environment through training, audits, and continuous improvement of safety practices.
∎ Address any safety incidents promptly and effectively.
∎ Manage production budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment.
∎ Oversee maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
∎ Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
∎ Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to streamline operations.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.
∎ Work closely with other departments such as R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment of production goals with business objectives.
∎ Participate in new product development and launch processes, providing input on manufacturability and production feasibility.
∎ Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
