Job Context:
∎ We are a large & reputed Knit Composite Garments Factory, currently looking for a potential candidate for the position of Manager/ Sr. Manager (Industrial Engineering).
∎ Our factory is producing 3.0 -3.5 million pieces knit garments in each month.
∎ Job location for the position is Gazipur, Factory Office.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the overall activities of industrial engineering/work study department. He will ensure achieving production efficiency level of the factory as per standard set target.
∎ The ideal candidate should have proven leadership skill & have the ability to train the workforce of industrial engineering, production, quality and other support departments for achieving optimum production efficiency level.
∎ Major Job Description of the position is as follows:
∎ Lead & guide the Industrial Engineering team to achieve the optimum production efficiency
∎ Analyze & follow up Method study activities in cutting, sewing, finishing, knitting, dyeing & printing sections and initiate necessary development programs to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency
∎ Finalize the operation bulletins and line lay out for every new style.
∎ Follow up proper manpower utilization and line balancing
∎ Setting of Standard Minute Value for new operations.
∎ Confirming of Standard Minute Value and line target.
∎ Pre planning of man, machine and attachment requirements
∎ Ensure preparation of regular reports by IE department and submission of the same to management for consumption
∎ Collect the reports prepared by IE persons, analyze and identify the most demanding needs of the production process improvement
∎ Follow up work activities of the IE officials and make them result oriented
∎ Train operators for particular operation as needed for specific steps.
∎ Develop & implement Training and Development programs for the IE Officials

∎ Age at most 45 years

∎ Candidates having minimum 8 yrs. of hands on experience in leading & managing work study / Industrial engineering department of any reputed knit composite Garments factory are only encouraged to apply.
∎ Candidates who are confident enough & ready to take the challenge to transform the factory production efficiency level as that of world class standard should apply.
∎ The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge on Industrial Engineering Arena and have the capacity to make effective productivity development, process development and train/educate related employees to get desired output.
∎ Should have proven Leadership skills
∎ Should have strong analytical skills and reporting skills.
∎ Should be well conversant with computer applications.
