Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the development and implementation of dyeing procedures for new fabrics, colors, and finishes.
∎ Collaborate with sample R&D, quality, and production teams to ensure smooth transitions from sample to bulk production.
∎ Manage lab dips, color matching, and customer approvals, ensuring fast turnaround and accuracy.
∎ Optimize recipes and dyeing parameters to improve quality, reduce reprocessing, and ensure colorfastness.
∎ Evaluate and select dyes, auxiliaries, and chemicals for performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Resolve technical challenges in lab and bulk dyeing processes and implement corrective actions.
∎ Conduct process audits and root cause analyses of quality issues related to dyeing.
∎ Maintain documentation for development activities, recipes, test results, and process changes.
∎ Ensure compliance with internal standards and external certifications (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GOTS).
∎ Keep up to date with market trends, customer requirements, and innovations in textile dyeing.
∎ Job Context
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Manager- Sample, R&D to lead the research and sample development efforts in the Quality Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing dyeing processes, ensuring consistent fabric quality, optimizing chemical usage, and driving innovation in sustainable and efficient dyeing technologies. This role requires close collaboration with production, quality control, and product development teams to meet both internal standards and customer expectations.
