Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead Quality assurance department.
∎ Responsible for the daily management and development of direct and indirect reports supporting quality operations.
∎ Responsible for managing all information necessary for the proper decisions on approval or rejection of all raw material, in-process materials, packaging materials, labeling and finished products manufactured.
∎ Responsible for the review and approval of standard operating procedures.
∎ Responsible for compliance to in-house specifications/standards and Good Manufacturing Practices including maintaining related documentation.
∎ Responsible for the review of production processes and records to assure quality, analyze trends.
∎ Ensure that customer complaints are investigated and resolved with the necessary corrective and preventive actions.
∎ Conduct vendor surveillance to judge quality competence of prospective vendors.
∎ Establish clearly defined quality standards and methods for process owners to apply.
∎ Plan and manage departmental resources and activities in accordance with approved budgets and timescales to contribute to company's profitability.
∎ Manage departmental performance against agreed targets.
∎ Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned.
