Experience:

Fresh Polymer and Paints Limited (FPPL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is setting up a modern and diversified polymer manufacturing facility at the Comilla Economic Zone, Bangladesh. The facility will manufacture a wide range of high-quality polymer and plastic products, including uPVC, cPVC, HDPE pipes, plastic fittings, bathroom fittings, uPVC WPC doors, uPVC foam sheets, water tanks, Teflon taps, and other polymer and paint products to meet growing market demand. To support its Injection Molding Machine (IMM) Fittings Production operations, FPPL is looking for an experienced, motivated, proactive, and technically competent professional for the position of Manager – IMM Fittings Production. The role will be responsible for leading overall injection molding operations, achieving production targets, optimizing machine and mold utilization, maintaining product quality, controlling production wastage, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan daily, weekly, and monthly fittings production schedules based on demand, machine capacity, mold availability, and raw material status.
Lead injection molding operations to achieve production targets while maintaining product quality and process efficiency.
Monitor injection molding parameters including temperature, pressure, injection speed, holding pressure, cooling time, cycle time, and mold conditions to ensure consistent production.
Optimize machine cycle time, mold utilization, material consumption, and manpower deployment to improve productivity.
Ensure dimensional accuracy, weight, appearance, strength, and other product specifications are maintained according to approved standards.
Coordinate with Tool Room and Workshop teams for mold installation, maintenance, modification, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with Quality Control to resolve product defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Analyze machine downtime, rejection, wastage, cycle time, and productivity to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
Control production losses arising from material wastage, mold-related problems, machine breakdowns, and improper process settings.
Supervise production personnel and develop their technical capabilities through coaching and on-the-job training.
Ensure proper machine setup, mold changeover, cleaning, start-up, shutdown, and product change procedures.
Implement SOPs, 5S, safety procedures, housekeeping, and process discipline throughout the production area.
Prepare production performance reports and present operational issues and improvement plans to management.
