Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Candidate must have sound knowledge of the Sweater Industry, Sweater Marketing & Merchandising.
∎ Candidates having minimum 10-12 years of experience in managing Merchandising & Marketing activities of export-oriented Sweater products in reputed manufacturing companies and dealing with Europe, USA, UK & Spain buyers.
∎ Team Player and Leader of a Marketing & Merchandising Team.
∎ Supervised the costing and pricing of the products and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Capability to arrange and coordinate buying meetings independently and internationally.
∎ Should be capable for new Business Development & Promotion with New Buyer from dedicated Foreign sources especially European and American markets.
∎ Capability for independent Marketing, Development inclusion of new Buyers, Order Placement, Correspond and Bridging with the buyers.
∎ To meet the objectives and targets of the Marketing & Merchandising department.
∎ In time correspond & response with Buyer's demand and Calculated workflow towards order starting stage to effective shipment of goods.
∎ Frequent presentation of Pre-cost & post cost analysis of an Executed export order.·
∎ Must have sound knowledge of all kinds of yarn and price range.
∎ Must have to know sweater knitting techniques in modern computerized machines.
∎ Have to keep close follow up with commercial department for import and export purpose.
∎ Ensuring best negotiation with flexible product range and competitive price to the customers, by reviewing cost sheet with comparative data study.
∎ To ensure proper planning to assure smooth operation within the team Arrangement of briefing, training, coordinating, controlling and taking the timely decision.
∎ Managing design & product development team. This includes costing, sampling, design development, material development etc.
∎ Perform periodical meeting with the product development team to discuss current development for existing customers and new developments on clothing for offering to existing or new customers.
∎ Optimize the right product mix based on market trends and customer preferences.
∎ Ensure smooth delivery of products by coordinating with suppliers and production teams.
∎ Manage costing processes to maintain profitability and competitiveness in the market.
∎ Monitor and control consumption of materials to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
∎ Provide effective team management, including training and mentoring junior merchandising staff.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the performance of merchandise and make recommendations for improvement Proper execution of orders according to planned 'Time and Action Plan' regularly to ensure on-time shipment with the right quality and quantity.
∎ We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for our Sweater factory in the Marketing & Merchandising department.
