Responsibilities & Context:
Human Resources:
- Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Bangladesh Labor Law and factory rules.
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Conduct training & development programs to enhance employee skills.
- Monitor attendance, payroll coordination, and HRIS data management.
- Foster employee engagement and build a positive workplace culture.
Sustainability:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies (BSCI, SEDEX, Higg Index, ZDHC, etc.).
- Monitor environmental and social compliance across factory operations.
- Prepare for and manage buyer audits and third-party assessments.
- Liaise with stakeholders to report on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance.
- Organize sustainability awareness programs and staff training.
- Track and report progress on SDG-aligned sustainability goals.
