∎ Proven experience as a Cutting Manager or similar role in a garments industry.
∎ In-depth knowledge of garment cutting techniques, equipment, and technology.
∎ Strong understanding of fabric types, characteristics, and consumption calculations.
∎ Proficiency in using cutting software and computer-aided cutting (CAD) systems.
∎ Proven experience as a Cutting Manager or similar role in a garments industry.
∎ In-depth knowledge of garment cutting techniques, equipment, and technology.
∎ Strong understanding of fabric types, characteristics, and consumption calculations.
∎ Proficiency in using cutting software and computer-aided cutting (CAD) systems.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement cutting strategies and procedures to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
∎ Plan and manage the daily cutting schedule, ensuring on-time delivery of cut fabrics to the production lines.
∎ Collaborate with the production planning team to determine the fabric requirements and prioritize cutting orders based on production deadlines.
∎ Allocate resources, including manpower and cutting equipment, to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
∎ Supervise and guide the cutting team, providing direction, training, and support to ensure consistent performance and skill development.
∎ Maintain and monitor cutting equipment and tools, arranging regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
∎ Monitor and control fabric inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment of materials.
∎ Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement in the cutting process.
∎ Continuously evaluate and optimize cutting techniques and technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Implement and enforce safety and security measures in the cutting department, promoting a safe working environment.
∎ Monitor and analyze production data, generating reports on cutting productivity, material utilization, and efficiency for management review.
∎ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to cutting processes.
