∎ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/ Apparel Manufacturing Management & Those who hold an MBA will be given preference.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 36 to 50 years
∎ Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, specifically in trims and accessories for the apparel or textile industry.
∎ Proven track record in supplier negotiation, cost management, and contract management.
∎ Strong knowledge of global sourcing markets, particularly in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
∎ Familiarity with sustainability standards and ethical sourcing practices.
∎ Excellent negotiation and communication skills, Leadership and team management abilities.
∎ Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and merchandising.

∎ Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for trims and accessories that align with company objectives, focusing on cost, quality, and timely supply.
∎ Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with global and local suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.
∎ Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms, including price, lead time, and payment conditions.
∎ Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and innovations in trims and accessories to ensure a competitive edge in sourcing.
∎ Cost Management: Manage the procurement budget and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
∎ Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality control teams to ensure trims and accessories meet product specifications and compliance requirements.
∎ Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure all sourcing activities align with the company’s sustainability goals and adhere to international labor and environmental standards.
∎ Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the design, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of materials into the production process.
∎ Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier reliability, supply chain disruptions, and market fluctuations.
∎ Any other task/assignment as required for the position as given by the company.
