Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Production and Quality and Operational Governance-
∎ Execute production workflow, that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives.
∎ Keep a record of sales figures, customer’s reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
∎ Suggest business trends to forecast and plan targets for the financial year in consultation with the seniors.
∎ Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
∎ Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
∎ Coordinate with the buyer on post delivery commercials.
∎ Monitor and track other production houses for sub-contract projects on AOP – All over print and Yarn Dyeing specified by Buyers’.
∎ Coordinate and ensure all the units/lines are inspected and audited as per Buyer’s requirement and delivering finished Pattern/fabric as per buyer’s quality standards.
∎ Coordinate and ensure smooth workflow for RMG testing & CPC report from Buyers’ house.
∎ Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
∎ Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
∎ Coordinate with all the production units, Sewing, Textile, Inventory, Embroidery, Cutting and Finishing for ensuring accurate product as per Buyer’s specification.
∎ Attend and participate in regular production meetings.
∎ Track trends on buyer’s validity report and quotes
∎ Track trends in inventory supply, production unit/line and shipping costs.
∎ Track improvement in process wise capacity utilization.
∎ Coordinate with New Product development and R&D department for new products and segment opportunities for the organisation by Sampling and prototyping styles form the mood board given by buyers.
∎ Track competitors and therefore involve in development & implementation of business strategy for strong processes.
∎ Team Management -
∎ Provide relevant feedback, motivation & support to the team consistently.
∎ Create a comfortable working environment, resolving any interpersonal issues within the team.
∎ Monitor & ensure that all members understand the team’s objectives and work together to achieve the common goals.
∎ Learning and Development -
∎ Be open to new ideas and processes at work and stay abreast of new developments in the field.
∎ Invest in Learning & development of self and team members.
∎ Recommend certifications/ external trainings for team and collaborate with HR in providing internal trainings & knowledge sharing opportunities.
