Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage the entire R&D department to drive innovation and product development initiatives.
Define R&D objectives, budgets, and project timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Oversee the design, development, and testing of new electrical products, including lights, switches, sockets, small home appliances, tools, water pumps and gas stoves.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to translate customer requirements into technical product specifications.
Work closely with the Quality Control team to establish and maintain testing standards for new and existing products.
Ensure proper documentation of all design files, Bill of Materials (BOM), test reports and other R&D records.
Recommend new technologies, tools, and strategic partnerships to enhance product innovation and efficiency.
Ensure all product designs and developments comply with relevant international standards (e.g., CE, ISO, RoHS).
Conduct performance evaluations and support skill development within the R&D team.
Lead and manage Product development team by aligning with Operation & marketing team.
