Experience in Research and Development, Knit garments, Research and Development for knit fabrics, Research Design/ Analysis
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knitting, Dyeing & Washing Plant Production development, Control & combination, Textile R&D and Sampling.
∎ Styling/Trend, Fabric, Washing and color composition knowledge must require.
∎ Work with the other department for committed orders and monitor the fabric development.
∎ Developing creative ideas and concepts.
∎ Follow up all buyer fabric development status.
∎ Coordinate with all supportive departments (Merchandising, Planning, DPD etc).
∎ Responsible for strong floor management as well as correspondence.
∎ Working knowledge of fabric construction.
∎ Must have knowledge in Graphics, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
∎ Must have problem solving & analytical skill.
∎ Establish a process route & keep records of each data to meet the quality in bulk order.
∎ To provide fabric technical support to development and merchandising teams.
∎ To independently source client-suitable fabrics and manage fabric development process.
∎ To analyze client's requirements for particular fabrics and developments and ensure the fabrics quality is achievable and can be maintained from development to bulk delivery.
∎ Closely monitor bulk fabric quality and troubleshoot problems with fabric supply chain or with operational teams.
∎ Manage fabrics relationship with client fabric teams ensuring that fabric procedures are match.
∎ To work closely with suppliers and study new techniques to meet client aesthetic requirements.
∎ Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals.
∎ Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products.
∎ Understand customer expectations on to-be manufactured products.
∎ Carry out assigned responsibilities for developing, directing and coordinating textile planning activities for executing development process.
∎ Any other assignment given by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good knowledge of fabric & apparel product development.
∎ Strong technical understanding of fabric construction and up to date on seasonal fabric trends.
∎ Strong management and problem solving skills in addition to excellent marketing sense.
