Experience:
B.Sc Engineering in Electrical & Electronics/ Mechanical with MBA from a reputed university;
Candidates those who have additional degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management(SCM) will give extra preference.
Candidate must have experience for minimum 5-8 years in the similar position in Garments/Textiles/Laundry business;
Through knowledge on procurement of yarn, dyes, chemical, accessories, machinery, IT equipment, spare parts etc.;
Knowledge on LC & import procedure;
Proficiency in MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Extensive expertise, having operated at a strategic level with a strong track record of success in delivering financial savings;
Candidates should have experience in various Projects like, factory BMRE/ factory building extension ;
Must be aware about SDG and compliance challenges in RMG industry;
Must be familiar with KPI based work performance culture for himself and the team;

Reporting to: MD and CEO of M&J Group
Job Responsibilities:
Standardization and monitoring of group procurement policies, practices to maintain uniformity across the business units throughout M&J Group;
Overall responsible for group local & foreign procurement related activities;
Prepare business unit wise quality budget, enlist potential & reliable vendors and ensure that procurement of materials are in conformity with material requisition/indent as per company standard;
Review and improve existing procurement practices across the business units to ensure conformity of approach, generate economies of scale and deliver better value for money;
Forecast financial requirements for procurement department;
Conduct vendor evaluation and develop new vendors as per group policy;
Maintain strong relationship with vendors & suppliers;
Realize and deliver cost savings together with a range of additional benefits including improved supplier performance, improved quality of services and total cost of performance along with risk management;
Lead the negotiation with vendors & suppliers with detail information, setting targets, strategies and appropriate techniques to get the best procurement deal for the Group of Companies;
Responsible for Oracle based EBS for procurement process;
Any other job as and when assigned by the top Management.
