Experience:
Quality Management System:
• Develop, implement, and manage the overall quality management system for the apparel manufacturing process.
• Establish and maintain quality standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure product quality and safety.
Team Leadership:
• Lead and manage the quality control team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
• Foster a culture of quality consciousness and teamwork within the quality department.
Inspection and Testing:
• Oversee and conduct inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished apparel products to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to perform various tests and measurements to assess product attributes.
Defect Identification and Analysis:
• Lead the efforts to identify, document, and analyze defects or non-conforming products.
• Work with production and design teams to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Quality Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality control reports, including inspection results, defect data, and trend analysis.
• Document quality processes, procedures, and improvements for reference and audit purposes.
Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure that all apparel products comply with industry and regulatory standards, as well as specific customer requirements.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and quality guidelines throughout the manufacturing process.
Supplier Quality Management:
• Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and implement supplier development initiatives.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure the selection of quality-conscious and reliable suppliers.
Continuous Improvement:
• Lead and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement best practices and recommend process optimization for quality enhancement.
Customer Feedback and Complaints:
• Address customer complaints related to product quality and work with the team to implement corrective actions.
• Utilize customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
Training and Development:
• Conduct training sessions for employees on quality control procedures, product specifications, and defect prevention.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
