Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Start up, shut down, and monitor generators to ensure they are running efficiently and safely.
∎ Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections to ensure generators operate at optimal levels.
∎ Generator operators troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation and perform repairs as necessary to minimize downtime.
∎ Continuously monitor generator performance, including temperature, pressure, and electrical output, to identify any potential problems before they escalate.
∎ Ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are followed during operation and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
