Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager/Deputy General Manager – Warehouse to oversee the warehouse operations at our garments factory.
∎ Lead and manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, inventory management, and shipping of goods.
∎ Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space, layout, and inventory storage processes.
∎ Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
∎ Oversee inventory control systems and ensure the accuracy of stock levels.
∎ Monitor and maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound shipments.
∎ Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
∎ Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance on best practices and safety measures.
∎ Implement and enforce workplace safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
∎ Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations and suggest cost-saving measures.
∎ Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational issues for management.
