Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: PRANTIC has been implementing the Pooled Fund Project in Education, funded by GAC and DFAT, with fund management by BRAC. Under this initiative, PRANTIC is actively engaged in Education, which aims to strengthen access to quality education for Rohingya children.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of Finance and Accounts Officer:
- Accounts -
- Preparation and documentation of the daily accounts and petty cash.
- Cross-checking of all transactions as per approved budget.
- Get approval of financial statement by Project Manager/Regional Manager as per policy.
- Update and maintain Cash, Ledger and inventory.
- Develop and print transaction sheet everyday and attach with the daily financial Statement.
- Collect monthly Bank Statement and prepare reconciliation with proper documentation.
- Entering daily data in Tally Software.
- Prepare monthly financial report as per PRANTIC and donor format
- Prepare salary sheet and disburse salary by cash to the FDMN volunteers and through bank to all national staff on or before the 5th day of the next month, depending upon the availability of project funds.
- HR & Admin-
- Play administrative roles and assist HR officer for HR related issues.
- Maintain staff attendance and leave register for each and every staff
- Notify late office attendance and absence by the end of each month.
- Supervise support staff and security guards.
- Logistic-
- Maintain Stock Register for local Purchase and distribution of all material.
- Prepare monthly inventory report.
- Always update stock register with physical verification.
- Maintain proper documents of storage, distribution, assets (with visible identification numbers), all rents, MoUs, NGO AB approvals, RRRC approvals and agreements.
- Others-
- Assist program colleagues whenever necessary.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
