• At Least 5 years experience in same field, Specially experience to work with GAP Inc.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes within the apparel/non-apparel industry and specific knowledge for relative category

• Thorough understanding of Gap Inc COBC protocols.

• Strong technical product skills

• Solid industry knowledge including market trends for new vendor sourcing and development

• Ability to create reports, provide analysis and recommendations to improve quality

• Communication skills– both written and verbal – in English and local language

• Strong risk management and trouble shooting skills; works proactively

• Ability to influence all levels of factory management

• Supervision, training and staff learning development skills

• Planning, scheduling and reporting strengths

• Need to have the enthusiasm to work in the production floor for most of the time.

• 5 years quality management role in related product

• Senior level factory operations experience; or factory + buying office experience

• Staff management and supervising experience across broad geographical area.

• Work with GIS Process Quality Auditor (PQA) on quality related tasks at factory and ensure all the Quality Management System (QMS) are executed consistently to meet Gap’s requirement.
• Work proactively with PQA on delivery, quality and product safety issues from development to shipment.
• Maintain sufficient and capable pool of CFI who are designated to handle GAP Inc. production, particularly inspections.
• Develop and support CFIs and PSO so they can function effectively and efficiently as per GIS SOP and guidelines.
• Monitor CFI and PSO’s capability and activities to solve issues with production effectively.
• Follow up all the Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and Product Safety Root Cause Analysis requested by GIS and implement substantially and effectively.
• Own the preproduction meeting process and address all callouts mentioned in line review meeting and set up relevant preventive actions in bulk production.
• Focus on key style throughout production process.
• Monitor both internal training and QA Knowledge Runway courses progress and ensure all quality-related staffs getting refreshment trainings every year.
• Manage/ coordinate testing related activities at factory level including but not limited to in-factory testing arrangement, in-house test facility/laboratory accreditation and associated in-house test reporting issues
• Ensure all CFIs and factory colorists pass the Munsell test in regularly between 6-12 months.
• Review and ensure bulk fit on dress form or live model, and workmanship and construction are following approved sample/PPS and all GSS requirements.
