Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
5-7 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in reputed garment manufacturing industries.
Experience in handling sample quality for woven and knit products is mandatory.
Familiarity with buyer quality standards and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office and reporting.Strong team coordination ability.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Controller – Sample to ensure the quality standards of woven jackets, outerwear (padded/non-padded), jersey/active wear, and sleepwear samples. The incumbent will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating sample garments from development stage to pre-production stage to ensure buyer requirements, measurements, workmanship, fitting, and construction standards are properly maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quality inspection of development, fit, size set, PP, and shipment samples.
Ensure samples are developed as per tech pack, buyer comments, and approved standards.
Identify defects and provide corrective feedback to relevant departments.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Sample, Cutting, Sewing, and technical teams regarding quality issues.
Monitor sample finishing quality including ironing, packing, labeling, and presentation.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality-related documentation.
Ensure all samples meet buyer requirements before submission.
Follow up on corrective actions and ensure continuous quality improvement.
Support product development and maintain sample approval timelines.
