Practical experience in CAD pattern making for critical woven jackets and outerwear, e.g., light puffer, heavy puffer Jacket, PU coat, transcoat, and windbreaker.
Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Lectra.Strong knowledge of pattern development, marker making, fabric consumption, and garment construction.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are a renowned 100% export-oriented manufacturer of woven jackets and outerwear, seeking an experienced and skilled CAD Pattern Master to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate patterns, optimizing fabric consumption, and ensuring the highest level of pattern-making efficiency to meet buyer requirements and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, set up, and troubleshoot CAD and pattern-making software, such as Lectra.
Calculate fabric consumption based on order quantity, size, and color for costing and production purposes.
Plan and execute pattern-making processes according to the buyer's technical package (Tech Pack).
Ensure cost reduction through optimum CAD efficiency and accurate marker making.
Ensure sample quality by checking styling, measurements, dummy fitting, and other technical aspects in accordance with buyer requirements.
Review and interpret buyer comments on patterns and samples and make necessary corrections accordingly.
Provide technical advice and support to customers, merchandising teams, factory personnel, and production teams.
Communicate effectively with buyers, merchandisers, and factory production personnel to ensure smooth coordination.
Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of CAD machines and related equipment.
Attend meetings with buyers and management as required.
Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
