Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Chemistry
  • Certification in Quality Management, Textile Testing, or Sustainability Standards preferred.

Skills Required: Garments Washing Plant,Production Management (Washing),WASHING

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 30 to 35 years
  • Should have good technical knowledge on washing.

  • Must have at least 8 years experience in a reputed and large Knit Garments.

  • Knowledge on various types of dyeing ie Pigment, Direct, Over dye , Fluorescent dye etc.

  • Practical experiences on Dry Process ie Whisker, Brush, Crinkle ,Tagging , Destroy ,Grinding etc.

  • Knowledge on use of Dyes & Chemicals.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Supervise Washing Quality Operations – Oversee daily washing quality inspections, ensuring garments meet buyer-approved standards.

  • Shade & Recipe Validation – Coordinate with washing technicians and labs to validate shades, recipes, and chemical usage.

  • Inline & Final Inspection – Monitor inline washing processes and final inspection results, ensuring defect-free garments.

  • Buyer Requirement Alignment – Ensure garments meet buyer specifications for shade, hand feel, shrinkage, and durability.

  • Compliance & Sustainability – Ensure adherence to ZDHC/MRSL standards, chemical compliance, and environmental safety in washing processes.

  • Team Leadership – Supervise inspectors and executives, provide training, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Cross-Department Coordination – Work with production, finishing, merchandising, and compliance teams to resolve quality challenges.

  • Problem-Solving & Escalation – Address shade variation, chemical issues, or machine-related defects, escalating unresolved challenges to senior management.

  • Audit & Buyer Visit Support – Prepare documentation and samples for buyer audits, support compliance inspections.

  • Reporting – Submit daily/weekly washing quality reports, highlight risks, and propose corrective actions.

  • Continuous Improvement – Introduce new washing techniques, sustainable chemical usage, and process innovations to improve quality and reduce costs.
