Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering

• Training in Operations Management, Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production Management, or Leadership Development preferred.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.    

• 10+ years of experience in RMG Industry, of which 03 years in overseeing RMG operations.

• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills with pleasant personality.

• Must be efficient on manipulate & dealing with subordinate manpower properly.

• Good knowledge/ awareness of Quality control policy & compliance terms.

• Must be capable to perform with under pressure & circumstance related strategy to overcome from any quality worse situation.

• Proven track record in managing large-scale knitwear or apparel operations.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Summary:

The RMG Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end production and operational activities in our ready-made garments manufacturing facility. This role ensures timely delivery, quality control, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry standards, while managing cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor overall RMG operational activities across production units.

• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets efficiently.

• Coordinate with Production, IE, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Commercial, and HR teams for smooth factory operations.

• Monitor operational KPIs including productivity, efficiency, DHU, absenteeism, and shipment performance.

• Ensure proper production planning, line loading, and capacity utilization.

• Monitor operational bottlenecks and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and operational SOPs.

• Drive productivity improvement and cost optimization initiatives across operations.

• Monitor manpower utilization, discipline, and operational effectiveness.

• Ensure timely execution of shipments according to production and delivery schedules.

• Conduct operational analysis and prepare management reports, dashboards, and MIS updates.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen activities.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machine availability and operational continuity.

• Support audit preparation, buyer visits, and compliance requirements related to operations.

• Monitor workplace safety, compliance, and environmental standards within operational areas.

• Lead and develop operational team members through coaching, training, and performance management.

• Ensure fast act react approach during operational challenges, critical production issues, and emergency situations.

• Support strategic operational planning and factory performance improvement initiatives.
