Experience:
Must have experience selling Casual fabrics, fashion fabrics and high-quality fabrics.
Strong knowledge of yarn, fabric construction, dyeing, and finishing processes.
At least 5 years of experience in fabric marketing (both woven & knit) in a reputed textile/garments company. Experience working with internationally recognized apparel brands is a plus.
Business Development & Sales
Actively generate fabric orders from overseas buyers, local buying houses and Bangladeshi factories.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize product offerings.
Regularly communicate with factories, buying houses and potential clients to present fabric options and close deals.
Client Relationship Management
Understand client requirements (Design, Quality, Price, MOQ, Shipment Deadline) and offer suitable fabric options.
Provide fabric swatches, samples, and technical information to buyers for approval.
Maintain regular communication with buyers and provide updates on order status.
Resolve client queries and complaints quickly and professionally.
Reporting & Strategy
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management review.
Provide feedback on market demand and new business opportunities.
Suggest strategic plans to expand the company’s fabric business locally and internationally.
