Dongyi Sourcing Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Development Merchandiser (Jersey) to strengthen our product development team. In this role, you will be the bridge between buyers, suppliers, and production teams — ensuring smooth sample development, accurate costing, and timely approvals.

We’re looking for someone with mandatory strong communication skills in both written and spoken English, solid knowledge of knit/jersey fabrics, and proven experience in handling international buyers. You’ll play a vital part in driving projects forward, solving challenges, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead product development and merchandising activities for the Jersey/Knit department.

• Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely sample development and approvals.

• Analyze buyer requirements, provide costings, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.

• Monitor production processes, ensuring quality standards and delivery timelines are met.

• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, resolving issues proactively.

• Prepare reports and documentation related to development, approvals, and order status.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in knit/jersey merchandising.

• Strong knowledge of fabric, trims, and garment construction.

• Proven track record of handling international buyers and large-scale orders.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English are mandatory.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
