Dongyi Sourcing Limited is looking for a motivated Assistant Development Merchandiser (Jersey) to join our product development team. In this role, you will assist senior merchandisers in coordinating with buyers, suppliers, and production teams — ensuring smooth sample development, accurate documentation, and timely follow-ups.

We’re seeking someone with strong communication skills in English, basic knowledge of knit/jersey fabrics, and a keen interest in learning international merchandising practices. This is an excellent opportunity for career growth in a dynamic sourcing company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in product development and merchandising activities for the Jersey/Knit department.

• Support coordination with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams for sample development and approvals.

• Prepare and update order sheets, costing files, and documentation under guidance of senior merchandisers.

• Follow up on production processes to ensure quality standards and delivery timelines are maintained.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve day-to-day issues.

• Maintain records and reports related to development, approvals, and order status.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in knit/jersey merchandising.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English are mandatory.

• Good organizational and documentation skills.

• Basic knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
