Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management.
Certification/training in ISO 9001, Lead Auditor, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Quality Management preferred.
Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO standards, and audit systems.
Expertise in SOP development, documentation control, and process standardization.
Understanding of buyer compliance requirements and operational excellence practices.
Strong analytical and root cause analysis capability.
Leadership and team management skills.
Job Responsibilities:
QMS Documentation & Compliance:
Develop, implement, and maintain QMS documentation including SOPs, formats, and manuals in alignment with buyer and company standards.
Monitor compliance across all QMS processes: Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Packing, TST, In-house, and GPQ.
Maintain records and evidence for buyer compliance and quality verifications.
Audit & Corrective Actions:
Conduct regular process audits and ensure effective implementation of CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
Ensure all UNIQLO buyer quality protocols, audit checklists, and process requirements are properly understood and implemented.
Prepare and support for UNIQLO QA audits, other buyer QA audits, process audits, QMS reviews, and factory audits.
Coordinate with buyer QA teams to ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Support management in reviewing quality performance and tracking KPIs.
Monitor and analyze DHU (Defects per Hundred Units), defect trends, and process-wise defect mapping.
Ensure robust data analysis reporting and visual control systems.
Training & Capacity Building:
Conduct internal training for line QC, production, and finishing teams on QMS procedures, product safety, and buyer quality requirements.
Develop and maintain skill matrices and competency tracking for QMS personnel.
Continuous Improvement & TQM:
Drive inline and final inspection quality improvement projects under UNIQLO’s Total Quality Management (TQM) approach.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (KAIZEN, 5S, PDCA) in collaboration with production and IE teams.
Support digitalization and automation in quality data management.
Product Safety & Testing:
Ensure adherence to product safety standards as per buyer and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate testing programs and manage test reports from approved laboratories.
Ensure traceability of materials, trims, and finished goods throughout the production cycle.
