Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production, Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • Training in Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Productivity Management, TPM, or Operations Management preferred.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification will be considered an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 35 years
  • Chattogram based candidates with hands-on experience in a similar IE role within the RMG industry.

  • Strong understanding of low-SMV production systems and line management.

  • In-depth knowledge of garment production processes and workflow.

  • Proficiency in IE software, MS Excel, and reporting tools.

  • Excellent coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

• Lead and manage all Industrial Engineering activities across production operations.

• Develop and implement productivity improvement strategies to maximize factory performance.

• Monitor production efficiency, line performance, capacity utilization, and manpower productivity.

• Conduct work study, time study, motion study, and method improvement activities.

• Establish and maintain accurate SMV databases for all production styles.

• Ensure effective line balancing and workstation optimization to achieve targeted efficiencies.

• Analyze bottlenecks, operational losses, and non-value-added activities and implement improvement actions.

• Monitor daily production KPIs including efficiency, productivity, absenteeism, utilization, and output achievement.

• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Merchandising teams to ensure operational alignment.

• Develop capacity plans and production feasibility studies based on order requirements.

• Lead manpower planning and resource allocation optimization initiatives.

• Monitor machine utilization and recommend process improvements for operational excellence.

• Support costing teams through accurate SMV validation and operational analysis.

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Develop SOPs, operational standards, and best practices across production processes.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Lead production layout optimization and workflow improvement projects.

• Prepare productivity reports, efficiency dashboards, and IE MIS for management review.

• Train and develop IE team members and production personnel on productivity enhancement techniques.

• Support buyer visits, audits, and operational assessments as required.

• Ensure implementation of digitalization, automation, and data-driven decision-making initiatives.

• Ensure fast act react approach to resolve production bottlenecks and operational challenges.
