Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Fashion Design, or Graduation/Post Graduation from any reputed Public or Private University.
Experience Requirements:
At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in Knit Garments Sample Development and Sewing Operations.
Minimum 2 years managerial experience in Sample Section.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, sample development processes, and buyer requirements.
Experience in Knit Garments Export-Oriented Industries will be given preference.
Must have skills in sample planning, team management, quality control, and reporting systems.

Should be well-groomed, smart, and energetic.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English.
IT proficiency – advanced level skill in MS Office package (Especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Knowledge of ERP/Sample Tracking Software will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail regarding garment construction, fit, and measurement accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Proactive, dynamic, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Oversee and manage all sample development activities from proto sample to shipment sample as per buyer requirements.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Pattern, CAD, Cutting, Sewing, Washing, Printing, Embroidery, and Quality teams to ensure timely sample execution.
Monitor sample production planning and ensure on-time delivery to buyers.Analyze tech packs, buyer comments, and specifications to ensure accurate sample development.
Ensure sample garments meet required quality, fit, construction, and measurement standards.
Follow up on all stages of sample development including Proto, Fit, SMS, PP, Size Set, GPT, and Shipment Samples.
Coordinate with merchandising teams regarding sample priorities and shipment schedules.
Monitor sample consumption and optimize fabric and trims utilization to minimize wastage.Troubleshoot technical and production-related issues during sample development.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, company policies, and quality standards.Maintain all sample-related records, approvals, buyer comments, and reports.
Supervise sample sewing operators, supervisors, and supporting staff to achieve productivity targets.
Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sample status reports for management review.
Coordinate with the industrial engineering (IE) and production teams regarding sewing feasibility and production readiness.
Ensure housekeeping, safety, and compliance standards are maintained within the sample section.Any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
